Alamere Spirits

Susannah and Olivier were tired of the grind of running two successful restaurants in Sausalito. So, they harnessed the energy from their shared midlife crisis to start a distillery. Straying from the industrial, volume-driven approach of other distilleries, they took a more traditional approach. Inspired by French roots, they use a European copper still and incorporate the world-class, local produce into their spirits. Inspired by the local geography in Marin County, the name Alamere comes from a unique tidefall (a waterfall that empties onto the beach). The name just so happens to mean ‘to the sea’ in French. We all fell for it.
